In contrast to the majority of my albums, this one doesn't attempt to represent a "whole that's bigger of the sum of it's parts". Instead, it really is a collection of single pieces - or single sets of pieces per guest, at best - which have little in common stylistically

Michael Brückner posted an album in Ambient. Quoting the album's liner notes: - "Muzikhala" is the Chichewa word for serenity. - - During the creation of "Muzikhala", a kind of "storyline" did slowly taking shape. Although probably it may be a different story for every listener, there is a dramaturgy unfolding all through the album; the tracks relate to each other and there a different interconnecting elements.

This Michael Brückner interview is one of the most fun I’ve done in quite some time. Michael is a bit of a character, and exceptional sonic story teller. Forrest Fang released a gorgeous album a couple of weeks ago (OK, really, which of his albums aren't gorgeous?) am, and around it other works from the RadioSpiral library contemplating fate, destiny, and various paths we might take through the cosmos. We'll hear from Max Corbacho, Grégoire Lourme, Pas de la Dame Sauvage, Alien Nature and Michael Brückner, Alpha Wave Movement, Team Metlay, Dan Pound, Robert Carty, and Jarguna.

The Ascension is the debut studio album by American no wave musician Glenn Branca, released in 1981 by 99 Records. The album experiments with resonances generated by alternate tunings for multiple electric guitars. It sold 10,000 copies and received acclaim from music critics. Branca wanted to explore the resonances generated when guitar strings tuned to the same note were played at high volumes. He assembled the Ascension Band with four electric guitarists, one bassist, and one drummer.

MICHAEL BRÜCKNER is an ambient and electronica artist from Germany. He was born in the university city of Heidelberg in 1969 and grew up in a small nearby town. In the 1990ies he moved to Mainz.
