Pete Seeger: Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
I still think globally, but I’m trying to sing more locally, says Pete Seeger in the opening moments of this outdoor concert, filmed on the banks of the Hudson River in Kingston, New York. For over 25 years, his rambling river crusades aboard the sloop Clearwater have focused the public awareness on cleaning up America’s polluted waterways. But today, as Pete weaves his magic onstage surrounded by children, the sight of families swimming at the river’s edge in the background is encouragement that his best years as an alist are yet to come.
