SHADOWFAX is a Crossover Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United States. The band disappeared for a few years after they debut and then resurfaced on the Windham Hill label in 1982 with a self-titled album of new material. MALUCHNIK was out but they brought in a few extra musicians who contributed additional instrumentation on various songs. In 1983 they released "Shadowdance", which saw them getting a little heavier.
Shadowfax is a music studio album recording by SHADOWFAX (Crossover Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1982 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. The Best Of Shadowfax - What Goes Around Windham Hill Records 1991. Shadowfax Windham Hill Records 1997.
Watercourse Way (CD, Album, RE). Lost Lake Arts. Their debut was light years away from the world fusion new age music they where known for on FM radio. Here Shadowfax is trying to find that unique edge that was to catapult them into new age/jazz stardom but what you get is straight on high energy rock/jazz fusion head on like a runaway train syncopated time changes, Moog synths and Chucks sax playing. Its a testament and time capsule of the bands origins proving these guys where not second rate in the performance or composition departments.
Shadowfax was a New Age/electronic musical group formed in Chicago in the early 1970s and best known for their albums Shadowfax and Folksongs for a Nuclear Village. In 1989 they won the Grammy for Best New Age Performance for Folksongs for a Nuclear Village. In 1993, they were nominated for the Grammy for Esperanto. The group formed in 1972 and disbanded after 1995 when Lyricon player and leader Chuck Greenberg died of a heart attack
Best of. Discography Browser. With two production showcase albums in just one year, Statik Selektah runs the risk of spreading himself thin, but there's no evidence on that on the prime What Goes Around. From the title track/hypeman opener to the brilliant, Beach Boys-borrowing closer "God Knows" with MCs Bun B, Jared Evan, and Pos from De La Soul, this scattered, roulette wheel-spin of an album offers club cuts, throwbacks, and sullen street numbers all of top quality. The flow of it all isn't perfect, but the short runtime for the tracks and the mixtape style of butting one cut right to the next make.
Comes Around (Interlude)" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Justin Timberlake for his second studio album, (2006). It was written and produced by Timberlake, Timbaland, and Danja. The song was said by Timberlake to be about betrayal and forgiveness, and was described by some music critics as a "sequel" to his 2002 single "Cry Me a River".
The finest luxury vintage from the most trusted source.
The album commences with What Goes Around, a fiery out-of-the-gate cut with trappings of New York rap coruscating from start to finish. The album’s first single Carry On is up next where Joey Bada$$ and Freddie Gibbs come together on wax for the first time over a saxophone-laced jazzy-esque beat. The cut screams boom-bap with its DJ Premier-inspired heavy scratching (a cornerstone in Statik’s producing manual). The Imperial featuring Action Bronson, Royce Da 5’9" and Black Thought is the album’s best. All MCs come with it, yet it’s the latter who, akin to his efforts on Bird’s Eye View off Statik’s 2013 album Extended Play, steals the show, delivering a multitude of quotable lines. It’s the album’s most marketable mainstream offering and is smothered in replay value.
