The World Mänkeri Orchestra (founded 1984) is a group firmly based on Finnish traditions, improvising new things and creating new sounds and instruments. Besides all the other things TWMO is highly specialized in old Finnish wind instruments, reeds and flutes. TWMO has made records, tv- and radio programmes and in addition to its own concerts in Finland and abroad the group has taken part in various music festivals.
