God Save the Queen" is a song by the British punk rock band the Sex Pistols. It was released as the band's second single and was later included on their only album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. The song was released during Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977. The record's lyrics, as well as the cover, were controversial at the time, and both the BBC and the Independent Broadcasting Authority refused to play the song.

God Save the Queen is a triple-disc, 60-track box set that purports to be a definitive retrospective of punk singles from the '70s to the '90s, but it fails miserably at its goal. There are a few highlights - including the Dead Kennedys' cataclysmic "Holiday in Cambodia" and Johnny Thunders' sleazy "Chinese Rocks" - but much of the set is devoted to live tracks and obscurities, right down to the contributions from the virtually unknown '90s outfit Chaotic Discord.
