Book of Love is the self-titled debut studio album by American synthpop and electronic band Book of Love, released on April 1, 1986, by Sire Records. Philadelphia/New York-based synthpop quartet Book of Love released their eponymous debut, Book of Love, in the spring of 1986, when synthpop was at its peak in the mid-'80s. During 1984 and 1985, the band recorded various demos at the recording studio Noise, in midtown Manhattan.

The Book of Love was a serious attempt by Air Supply to regain their position as pre-eminent adult contemporary artists. During the early '90s, they released a couple of records that went ignored, but none were as as The Book of Love, which places them squarely in the '90s adult pop tradition, instead of finding them stuck in the '80s. That alone makes the album worthwhile, but it doesn't excuse the uneven songwriting
If Book of Love represents the band's masterwork and Lullaby is the apex of its chart success, then 1991's Candy Carol was its psychedelic period. Though it doesn't have as many single-worthy tracks as its predecessors, it does have "Sunny Day", which appeared in Silence of the Lambs and "Alice Everyday". The effects of remastering on this disc are, again, not as apparent as one might expect. Although there are bonus tracks, most notably, the "Sam the Butcher" remix of Alice Everyday", many things a longtime fan might want are missing.
Produced by Felix Jaehn. Album I. Book of Love Lyrics. In the midnight haze, we are sitting in the sun The light hits your face and I know that you're the one We could fill the pages with good dreams tonight I wanna be a chapter in your book of love. In your book of love In your book of love In your, in your In your book of love. Baby, we are flying too close to the sun And we may get barren but it'd be a crime to run Cause you're perfect as the deep blue sky above You can be a chapter in my book of love
Let's be completely honest and upfront, The Book of Love is not a good movie. It's not even a movie I would recommend to people. However, it's heart is in the right place. I know the film was made for people who are going through tragedies and are looking to move on. That's fine and all, but the execution is far from where it could have been with an idea like this. The Book of Love deals with two people, Henry and Millie, both with tragic pasts and looking for something to keep them going through difficult times.
