Louise Goffin (born March 23, 1960) is an American singer-songwriter and t and producer of the Grammy-nominated album A Holiday Carole. Signed by record executive Lenny Waronker to DreamWorks in 1999, Goffin released Sometimes a Circle in 2002. She went on to release three albums, an EP, and several singles independently through her own label Majority Of One Records, which was launched May 2008.

The album finds her teamed with successful popular songwriting partnerships of the time: Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg (hitmakers for Madonna and Cyndi Lauper) and Tony Swain and Steve Jolley (erman songsmiths to Bananarama). The songs, including those written with no outside help, have a slick, tight, professional coherence not evident in Goffin's earlier work

Singer/songwriter Louise Goffin grew up watching and listening to her famous parents craft some of pop music's greatest songs. As the daughter of Gerry Goffin and Carole King, Louise was always surrounded by music. She started playing piano at age six and by age eight, she was writing her own songs; however, she was painfully shy of singing. She tried her hand at a recording career anyway, releasing Kid Blue in 1979. A self-titled effort followed in 1981 and a year later, Goffin contributed "Uptown Boys" to the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack
