I already had the cassette version of this album, and I replaced it with the CD version of the album. You get a sense that Rubinstein is well within his depth in playing Chopin here, completely comfortable, making it all appear simple in the execution. Yet, there is a tone to his renditions that is as multi-faceted as the most well-considered painting-detailed, and strikingly clear. These are excellent interpretations. I highly recommend this album. One person found this helpful.
