Kristian Matsson (born 30 April 1983) is a singer-songwriter from Dalarna, Sweden, who performs under the stage name of The Tallest Man on Earth. Matsson grew up in Leksand, and began his solo career in 2006, having previously been the lead singer of the indie band Montezumas. His music has often drawn comparisons to the music of Bob Dylan.

The Wild Hunt is the second studio album by Swedish folk musician The Tallest Man on Earth. It was released on 13 April 2010 by Dead Oceans. As of 2011, the album has sold 35,524 copies in United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Critical reception for The Wild Hunt was generally positive.

Professor Lidenbrock is a man of astonishing impatience, and departs for Iceland immediately, taking his reluctant nephew with him. Axel, who, in comparison, is anti-adventurous, repeatedly tries to reason with him, explaining his fears of descending into a volcano and putting forward various scientific theories as to why the journey is impossible, but Professor Lidenbrock repeatedly keeps himself blinded against Axel's point of view. According to Saknussemm's message, the passage to the center of the Earth is through the one crater that is touched by the shadow of a nearby mountain peak at noon. However, the text also states that this is only true during the last days of June.

And of course there is an extraordinary sui generis central performance by David Bowie as the intergalactic visitor Thomas Newton – his unselfconscious gentleness and vulnerability now look very moving and bizarrely authentic in a way that they didn’t in 1976. Bowie and the missing soundtrack: the amazing story behind The Man Who Fell to Earth. The story unfolds in a daring sequence of narrative leaps. Newton crash-lands in a small town where he is befriended by a hotel receptionist Mary Lou (Candy Clark) in whose presence this delicate stripling faints; she has to carry him to his room – an extraordinary sequence.

Low hanging fruit-ass white boi edge lord middle schoolers. Earth as a man is one outlandish idea i just can't accept, very bizarre idea. Earth has consistently been conceptualized as woman in many societies, for example Gaia, pachamama, "mother earth" just to name a few. Earth gave birth to all forms of life we know, majority of men cant/don't give birth. Earth is not a man. Other than that, great music. Consider changing name of band/album thank you. yoyofingers2 anos atrás.

In nearly every respect, Swedish troubadour Kristian Matsson's second full-length outing as the Tallest Man on Earth is a direct continuation of the stripped-down roots folk style he introduced on his debut - an album that was deeply, unambiguously steeped in rural American folk tradition but also the product of a strong singular vision and voice. Arguably the most significant difference this time out is the wider stateside distribution that The Wild Hunt will enjoy thanks to its presence on Dead Oceans, and, hopefully, an attendant increase in exposure

Well I walk upon the river like it's easier than land Evil's in my pocket and your will is in my hand Oh, your will is in my hand. And I'll throw it in the current that I stand upon so still Love is all, from what I've heard, but my heart's learned to kill Oh, mine has learned to kill
