Feelin' Alright?", also known as "Feeling Alright", is a song written by Dave Mason of the English rock band Traffic for their eponymous 1968 album Traffic. It was also released as a single, and it reached on the US charts but failed to chart in the UK. Joe Cocker performed a more popular rendition of the song. Both Traffic's and Cocker's versions appear in the 2012 movie Flight. The song had also been featured in the 2000 film Duets, sung by Huey Lewis. Dave Mason - lead vocal, guitar.

In Our Lifetime? is the sixteenth studio album by soul musician Marvin Gaye, released January 15, 1981, on Motown label Tamla Records. Recording sessions for the album took place at Marvin's Room in Los Angeles, California, Seawest Recording Studio in Honolulu, Hawaii, and at Odyssey Studios in London, England, throughout 1979 and 1980 (and abruptly remixed in 1981 by Motown). The album cover was designed by Neil Breeden

Jacksonville State University.

Artist: David Ruffin. Album: David Ruffin - The Motown Solo Albums, Vol. 1, 2005. Less than six months after the release of his triumphant solo debut My Whole World Ended (1969), Motown issued former Temptations' frontman David Ruffin's dozen-song follow-up Feelin' Good (1969). Of the two non-Motown covers on this collection, the incendiary update of Dave Mason's "Feelin' Alright" wins hands down over the comparatively uninspired, but charming take of Jackie DeShannon's anthemic "Put a Little Love in Your Heart.

This is the intro to the version of Rebelution's "Feeling Alright" posted in part on youtube. I tried to space the notes accurately, but watch the video to get the timing down. com/watch?v Z8FgZqGdkCo.

Notes

I could be wrong with the order of the A and B sides. There is a very faint maitrix number in the deadwax on the Feeling Alright side which appears to end in "-A" so I have assumed that this is the A side of the disk. The B side on my copy has no ,atrix numbers in the run out deadwax.
