We Care a Lot is a song by Faith No More. There are three versions of the song (including a Mike Patton era ‘Live’ version), all of which have been officially released over three different albums. The original was recorded for and released on the band’s first studio album We Care a Lot. A re-recorded version, with new lyrics was included on the Introduce Yourself album . Well, ah Roddy wrote all the things that he cared about and I just wrote the part that says, it’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it ‘cause I figured that’s just the feeling I got. That’s the only thing I submitted.
Band Name Faith No More. Album Name Who Cares a Lot? The Greatest Hits. DISC 1. 1. We Care a Lot (Original Version). 2. Introduce Yourself. 3. From Out of Nowhere. 5. Falling to Pieces. 9. Digging the Grave.
Granted, Who Cares a Lot is not without its uses; it will satisfy fans who just want the band's recognizable songs on one disc, or who don't have the patience to sort through the more uneven albums. But if its aim is to be a definitive Faith No More retrospective, Who Cares a Lot falls well short of the mark.

The second catalogue number (2-47149) is taken from the sticker found on the front of some early copies of this release. Front sleeve is a 16 page booklet which includes band photos and a comprehensive band biography and obituary by their biographer, Steffan Chirazi. 1987, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1998 Slash Records.
Faith No More broke up, and it breaks my heart to know I would never really get to see this band live. It’s funny to see how much they have caught on recently, mainly due to Mike Patton and his zany projects he does. It's disheartening to see Mikey Bordin play for Ozzy, when he could easily play for FNM and his talents could be put to use again. People are always curious about FNM, and they ask me about them all of the time. Usually I burn them a sic mix, and tell them to study. No lie, every person I’ve burned cds for, have loved them in return
