Having lightened up on his political concerns and domestic strife on the cover-filled Dreamland Express, John Denver returned to both on One World. On the title track, he adopted the persona of a Caribbean man complaining about his homeland being referred to as the Third World, and hinting about revolution. On "Let Us Begin (What Are We Making Weapons For?)," he managed both to take on the farm crisis, and to expound on pacifism in the same song.

John Denver is one of the most famous singer/songwriters and folk musicians of all time. This John Denver discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top John Denver albums can be found at the top of the list. The prolific musician spent several decades in the public eye, but much of his most seminal work took places in the 1970s, including the record for which he's most closely associated, Rocky Mountain High.
