The Cocaine Wars 1974-1989. You just need to hear the album for yourself to truly enjoy this album; it's quite difficult to explain the band's weirdness in mere words. To sum it up- at times I found myself wanting to run around the house screaming, other times I laughed outloud (as did anyone I showed this album to). Don't let the phrase "powerviolence" scare you off, and don't write off Crom as a joke band. These dudes kick serious ass, and I'll bet you'll have a blast if you get your hands on this!

Cocaine Wars is a 1985 Argentine-American action drama film directed by Héctor Olivera and starring John Schneider, Federico Luppi, Rodolfo Ranni and Royal Dano. It was written by Olivera, Steven M. Krauzer and David Viñas. The associate producer of the film was Fernando Ayala. It premiered in Argentina on August 1, 1985. From its inception, the CROM was controlled by a small group of union leaders called Grupo Acción ("Action Group") who supported the post-revolutionary government. After supporting President Carranza, the CROM was a key base of support for two of his successors, Álvaro Obregón and Plutarco Elías Calles. The political vehicle of the federation was the Mexican Labor Party. Under Obregón, the labor movement was co-opted as its leaders were appointed to posts within the government.
