A couple tracks make me wanna say this is one of the worst recordings I've ever heard. Like 'Unhappy Girl' and 'I Can't See Your Face' which sound horrendous. First, it sounds like a mono mix. Second, it sounds like there is one mic and that's the mic Jim is singing through and the rest of the band is only coming through this one mic as well and it just sounds muffled and lo quality all the way through. However, tracks like 'When The Musics Over' sounds more like a soundboard cut and has better sonics. These are very intimate recordings they're not big concert performances and the sound on this reissue reflects this. Some minor surface noise during the quiet parts and a lite tape hiss can be heard during most songs, yet a very compelling look into The Doors live performance tho. A must-have for collectors and diehards but probably a release to avoid for the casual listener. FYI, the last track, the title track, sees Jim Morrison performing his famous Oedipus act, Quite entertaining! What a treat those early Doors shows must have been.

Both US & European were pressed in Europe (Netherlands) and should be merged!

I've got number 02216 purchased in Adelaide South Australia. Would like to get the 2017 one

The funny thing is they pressed 10,000 copies of the first matrix RSD release, then they print 13,000 copies of part 2??
Prince Persie
Well, they underestimated the demand for part 1 so they pressed more for part 2....basic business stuff.

This appears to be a duplicate entry of https://www.discogs.com/The-Doors-Lets-Feed-Ice-Cream-To-The-Rats-Live-At-The-Matrix-Part-2-Mar-7-10-1967/release/11877991, which is also the RSD 2018 release.
Auau
The shipping prices for these are just a total money grab.
Yalone
i ship overseas often and a single LP to most of the world from the US is $23.00. we know its ridiculous but there is nothing we can do about it.
Skyway
And the eBay prices are an even bigger “rip-off” it’s criminal!
Anen
I would guess you are referring to international shipping. It's rare to see a US seller that overcharges within the US.
Gaxaisvem
if you can, yes, go to a record store on monday they might have some copies left, my store did have 6 copies left, and I arrived at 7pm - otherwise, yes many sellers practice abusive prices on shipping, it's a painful research to find a seller with honest shipping price
Watikalate
It is a recordstore day exclusive record. Go to the store to buy it!
