While touring Monrose began preparing work on their second studio album, Strictly Physical which was preceded by "Hot Summer," the band's second number-one hit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and one of the biggest-selling songs of the year on German online music stores. On 1 September Monrose contested in the Sopot Song Festival 2007 in Poland, representing Germany with their debut single "Shame.

Shame" is a song by all-female German trio Monrose, recorded for the band's debut studio album Temptation (2006). It was written by Christian Ballard, Tim Hawes, Pete Kirtley and Andrew Murray, while joint production was helmed by British production teams Jiant and Snowflakers. Set against a heavy drum pattern and computerized synths sounds, "Shame" is a piano ballad arranged as a mid-tempo with pop and R&B influences

Like every other TV casting band, Monrose is very successful in Germany - especially with children and female teenagers. The band broke up after the last project in spring 2011.
