Peripheral Vision is the second studio album by American rock band Turnover. Produced by Will Yip, the album was released on May 4, 2015 through Run for Cover Records. Following the release of their debut album Magnolia (2013), Turnover parted ways with original guitarist Kyle Kojan, replacing him with Eric Soucy. It was recorded at his studio, Studio 4, in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
Peripheral Vision, Turnover’s sophomore album, shows a switch in direction from 2013’s debut Magnolia. Replacing the original pop punk sound, this record is mostly described as dream pop. The addition of new guitarist Eric Soucy – who is not in the band anymore – was stated as a major influence on this change. Vocalist Austin Getz stated in an interview with The New Fury that the sound isn’t the only thing that’s evolved on Peripheral Vision.

On Peripheral Vision, Turnover move past their pop punk origins into sighing, wistful indie. The best songs still sound like Turnover’s application to Captured Tracks finishing school, but retain pop punk’s main lyrical drivers of social and sexual insecurity. Before hearing 'Peripheral Vision' in full, I was expecting to be sorely disappointed. The change in style the singles showed off made me worry that Turnover would pull a Title Fight - that is, to compromise songwriting and emotion in the attempt to sound more "mature". Thankfully, Turnover instead produced an album with a clear aesthetic change, while maintaining the strong songwriting and emotional weight of their past work.
