Moore spent several weeks in Jamaica, recording with some of the top artists of the country. Particularly in Channel One playing with Sly and Robbie. When he got back to Europe he wanted to continue that. This time he didn't want to acknowledge the world of rock and pop but concentrate on an authentic Jamaican sound with original melodies, a strong driving beat and free flowing soloists.

David Cohn, better known by his stage name Serengeti, is an American hip hop artist from Chicago, Illinois. In 2007, Serengeti released the first collaborative album with producer Polyphonic, titled Don't Give Up. The duo released their second collaborative album, Terradactyl, in 2009. In 2011, Serengeti released his solo album, Family & Friends, which was produced by Yoni Wolf and Owen Ashworth.
