Die sonne satans as self-determination. Later, two retrospective CD's, comprised of the material recorded over the past five years of the project existence, were released: "Sigillo" (1996, Sadisque) and "Archive Compendium" (1997, Dark Vinyl). The music of Die Sonne Satan(s) is sustained by the spirit of a dark ambient ritual, and this represents the metaphysical journey into the depths of the archaic consciousness, far from the everyday reality, the same level which is sought for by the works of groups such as Archon Satani and Raison d'Ȇtre.

The Compendium Archive 1996 - 2006 is a compilation album by American metal band Agalloch. It was released through Licht Von Dämmerung Arthouse on March 20, 2010. The album was limited to 250 hand-numbered copies, and was sold exclusively at the band's two Romanian gigs in March 2010. John Haughm – guitar, percussion, vocals. Don Anderson – guitar. Shane Breyer – vocals. Jason William Walton – bass.
