Released in a cover laminated on front only, on a dark blue and silver Decca Nova label. The backcover has the "indicator hole" where the inner sleeve peeps through (red mono, blue stereo). Also released in stereo (SDN 6).
The Elastic Band were a Welsh band, formed in North Wales in the 1960s. They were one of the exponents of the UK psychedelic rock scene from the late 1960s and featured Andy Scott who would go on to become guitarist with Sweet. Other members were August Eadon (Gus) who went by the name Ted Yeadon when he was a member of Elastic Band, Sean Jenkins (drums) and Mike Scott (bass - Andy's brother). 3ChordRecords is offering for sale a Very Good original 1st Press 1969 UK Mono LP by The Elastic Band "Expansions on Life" on Decca (Nova Series) Records. Cat No. DN 6. The original 1st Press record is pressed on thick black vinyl and is VG+/EX- condition, there are half a dozen light scratches visible under bright light. However the generally the record is visually clean, and retains much of its original sheen. The labels have light spidering but no additional wear.

Expansions is the tenth album by jazz pianist McCoy Tyner and his fourth released on the Blue Note label. It was recorded in August 1968 and features performances by Tyner with Woody Shaw, Gary Bartz, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Herbie Lewis, and Freddie Waits. All compositions by McCoy Tyner except as noted.
