Kometenmelodie 2" (English title: "Comet Melody 2") is an instrumental track by German electronic music group Kraftwerk. It was released in 1974 as their second single, taken from their fourth studio album Autobahn. The track is named for Comet Kohoutek. German 7" single (Philips 6003 466). Kometenmelodie 2" – 3:05. Autobahn is the fourth studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk, released in November 1974. It was the band's first album to fully embrace the repetitive electronic sound they would become known for, although organic instruments still remained part of their sonic palette, and was inspired by the titular German highway system
