Whitey Ford Sings the Blues is the second solo studio album by American recording artist Everlast, and the first one following his departure from House of Pain. It was released on September 8, 1998 via Tommy Boy Records, a full eight years after his solo debut album Forever Everlasting and after he had a major heart attack. Whitey Ford" in the album title refers to the New York Yankees pitcher with that name.
The idea seemed to be to put together a collection in the medium-tempo, string-filled, lovelorn style of the hit, so there was a lot of pleading on this record. Brown would always be more interested in the dancefloor than the bedroom, but he was a convincing romantic beggar, so the album's loose concept held together.
And I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I've always missed, with these eyes before. Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. Impassioned lovers Wrestle as one Lonely man cries for love And has none New mother picks up And suckles her son Senior citizens Wish they were young. Cold hearted orb That rules the night Removes the colours From our sight Red is gray and Yellow white But we decide Which is right And Which is an Illusion.
Cause I love you, Yes, I love you, Oh, how I love you. Gazing at people, Some hand in hand, Just what I'm going through They can't understand. Some try to tell me Thoughts they cannot defend, Just what you want to be You will be in the end, And I love you, Yes, I love you, Oh, how I love you. Oh, how I love you. Beauty I'd always missed With these eyes before, Just what the truth is I can't say anymore. Cause I love you, Yes, I love you, Oh, how I love you.

About Nights in White Satin. Written by Justin Hayward when he was 19. Was released in 1967 as part of the Moody Blues classic concept album Days of Future Passed. This is the last song of the concept album, which follows the course of a day, jumping between people and places to capture the typical day. The song documents the heightened emotions and intimacy of dusk/early night-time.
This album, half of which weas originally issued as 78 RPM singles and the rest comprised of d takes, coincided with the spread of rumors that Johnson sold his soul to the Devil at a Mississippi crossroads in return for his musical talent. You can hear it somewhat on the recording, but the video of the majority white crowd clapping along as his band cooks through the set reinforces just how transcendent this performance was for its time. King: Live at the Regal. The Queen of Chicago Blues’ second album was her first for Chess Records, and features her signature song Wang Dang Doodle. That hit single was written by Willie Dixon, who also produced the record and played bass on several tracks alongside such session guitarists as Buddy Guy and Matt Guitar Murphy.
After the concert, the State Troopers chase the Blues Brothers back to Chicago. The scene in which several troopers' cars crash off the highway embankment was filmed at a closed section of Illinois State Highway 53 in Palatine, Illinois. Dan Aykroyd's script was originally titled "The Return of the Blues Brothers" and was three hundred twenty-four pages. It was intended to be a two-part film. John Landis spent three weeks paring the script down.
