Paris is a live album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in 1980. It was recorded on Supertramp's Breakfast in America tour in Paris, France, with most of the tracks taken from a 29 November 1979 show at the Pavillon de Paris, a venue which was once a slaughterhouse. The album was originally going to be called Roadworks. Paris reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 in late 1980 and went Gold immediately, while the live version of "Dreamer" hit the US Top 20.

See full cast & crew. One thing that may be either annoying or exemplary, depending on your point of view, is that this live concert was intentionally sound designed (much like Supertramp's 1980 live album, culled from this same tour, if not this same performance) with at least some of the microphones in the audience. That may in fact give a visceral aural recreation of what it was like to be there, but some fans may wish for a "cleaner" sound that isolates the band a bit more. Downstream (1080p; 3:33). Supertramp’s Breakfast In America was the biggest selling album in the world in 1979. It spawned several hit singles and went on to win two Grammy Awards and sell in excess of 20 million copies. Following the album’s release Supertramp embarked on a 10 month world tour which arrived in Paris. More at the end of November. This show from the Pavillon de Paris was both filmed and recorded. The audio went on to form the basis of the 1980 live album Paris but the film was never released.

Live '88 is the second live album by the English rock band Supertramp released in October 1988 on A&M Records. Originally recorded on two track cassette direct from the sound board for Rick Davies' use, Live '88 features the 4 piece lineup of the group augmented by additional players including Mark Hart (later a permanent member of the group and a future member of Crowded House) playing guitar and singing songs originally sung by Roger Hodgson.

Supertramp's seventh album entitled Paris was released in October of 1980. Now, a Blu-Ray (and DVD) has been released of the classic Supertramp performances from Paris in December of 1979 called Supertramp Live in Paris 1979. The film was shot and recorded in December of 1979 in Paris, France at the Pavillion on the penultimate night of the band's Breakfast in America European tour. Supertramp Live in Paris is a superb concert film, capturing the band at the peak of their popularity when singer/keyboard player/songwriter Roger Hodgson was still with the group.
