Young at Heart" is a pop song first recorded in the 1980s by the British female singing trio Bananarama and appeared on their debut album Deep Sea Skiving in 1983. The song was later recorded by the Scottish pop group The Bluebells.

Written by girl group Bananarama for their debut album but never released as a single, until the Scottish group Bluebells, whose guitarist Robert Hodgens was then-boyfriend of Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey, covered it for their only proper album Sisters. Originally a UK top ten single in 1984, it was re-released in 1993 after exposure by a Volkswagen Golf commercial, and topped the UK singles chart.

Robert Hodgens of The Bluebells was dating Siobhan Fahey from Bananarama when he decided to help them out with some songs for their debut album Deep Sea Skiving. This was one of them, and although it made Bananarama's album, Fahey felt that The Bluebells should cover it. They did so and it became a UK hit. In 1993, this was reissued and went to UK after it was used in a Volkswagen television advertising campaign. The band had long ago split up but they got together again to perform this on the BBC music show Top of the Pops
