Eden Burning were a British Christian folk-rock band from Cheltenham, which is somewhere in England, no idea where. I mostly know them from an absolutely awesome live album called Smilingly Home, which rocks out quite awesomely with lots of uptempo fiddling and banjoing and suchlike; I had it as a teenager and have no idea where I got it from. A very worthwhile album to acquire; the only studio album I ever got from them, Vinegar and Brown Paper, wasn’t quite as awesome, and from comparison of live vs. studio versions of the same songs, it would seem they were most in their element on the.
Eden Burning - 2 - If I Go Up - Vinegar And Brown Paper (1993). Eden Burning - 8 - Jubilee - Vinegar And Brown Paper (1993). Beau - There once was a time. Gene chandler - there was a time (brunswick). The Last of the Mohicans Main Theme - Tina Guo.

Eden Burning were a popular Christian band from Cheltenham led by Paul Northup. They originally met as members of Charlton Kings Baptist church, and were active within the Christian music community between 1989 and 1996. The band's name refers to the Biblical tale of Garden of Eden burning down after Adam and Eve are banished . There was also a live CD album, Smilingly Home, recorded in front of their home crowd at what is now the University of Gloucestershire. Subsequently, to celebrate 30 years of the Christian Greenbelt festival, they released a "Best of" album (The Hatchery 1990 – 1996). Eden Burning toured extensively around Britain, particularly in the South and Midlands
Former members of Eden Burning include Neill (mandolin, bouzouki, six-string guitars, 12-string guitars, classical guitars, vocals) and Nive Hall (bass, vocals). Eden Burning's first release was Thin Walls. It was followed by the EP Much More than Near and three additional albums: Vinegar and Brown Paper, Smilingly Home and Mirth and Matter.
