Mike Miller, born Sioux Falls, South Dakota on May 8th, 1953, is an american guitarist and bassist. Mike Miller was born into a musical family in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on May 8, 1953. He was the third of four bass-playing brothers, performing with his father’s jazz combo at twelve  . In 1993 Mike joined jazz keyboard icon Chick Corea in the Elektric Band II to record the Grammy-nominated album Paint the World (1993). On this recording, Corea said: I wanted to go for a much less thought-out, produced, composed music. I wanted less written notes, varying tempos of song. here was no effort in making it, and it’s exactly what we played

Mike Miller is a Los Angeles-based guitarist known for playing various styles of music including jazz fusion, rock, pop and more. He has been a member of bands including Chick Corea, Bette Midler, Yellowjackets, Gino Vanelli, Chad Wackerman, Vinnie Colaiuta, Quincy Jones, Brand X, and Burton Cummings. Miller has also released two albums under his own name in "Save The Moon" (1997) and "World Goes Round" (2008), and released two other projects, the first being "The Outsidemen - Band Overboard" including former Frank Zappa and Don Ellis drummer Ralph Humphrey, and "Two Guys From South Dakota" featuring fellow guitarist and South Dakota native Bruce Arnold.

Mike Miller (athlete). Michael "Mike" Duane Miller (born December 29, 1959 in Flint, Michigan) is a retired track and field sprinter and American football wide receiver. Representing the United States, he is best known for setting the 1982 world's best year performance in the men's 200 metres. He did so at altitude on June 2, 1982 at a meet in Provo, Utah, clocking 2. 5 Football. Miller was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 4th round (104th overall) of the 1983 NFL Draft.
