Track 3 was recorded live to 2-track at LMU for this guy Dale's Junior Recording project. He only got a B+, but it still sounds cool. Track 6 was written as a tribute to Spinal Tap and Sonic Youth.
Rockabilly Rarities, Vol. 1 plucks a big pile of rockabilly from scarce 45s that populated small-time record shops throughout the . during the '50s and '60s. While this is a lovingly put-together compilation of rockabilly recorded during the style's peak, it's definitely something for longtime devotees and not newcomers.
