Leslie David Reed OBE (24 July 1935 – 15 April 2019) was an English songwriter, arranger, musician and light-orchestra leader. His major songwriting partners were Gordon Mills, Barry Mason, and Geoff Stephens, although he wrote songs with many others such as Roger Greenaway, Roger Cook, Peter Callander, and Johnny Worth. Reed co-wrote around sixty charting songs, and is best known for "It's Not Unusual", "Delilah", "The Last Waltz" and "Marching On Together".

The Les Reed Song Book exposes the musical career of Les Reed. Apologies for not being in touch lately but my focus has been on completing my autobiography. Not wanting to bore you all but we have many requests to name some of the artists that have covered our songs over the last 62 years. Below I have attempted to refresh my memory, but in the main, here is 100 artists, singers that have covered our songs over the years.

Although better known for writing popular hits such as Delilah and It’s Not Unusual for Tom Jones, Les’s talent encompasses a far greater musical spectrum.
