Hedone, Maciej Werk's group was the one that in 90's showed in an uncompromising and disillusioning way that Poland is a country for world-class music. Iggy Pop appeared on their first album. Their musical style altered with the change in group members. On their next record we experience refined pop music with a big dose of electronica. Hedone (Ancient Greek: ἡδονή) was the personification and goddess of pleasure, enjoyment, and delight. Hedone, also known as Voluptas in Roman mythology, is the daughter born from the union of the Greek gods Eros (Cupid) and Psyche in the realm of the immortals. She was associated more specifically with sensual pleasure. Her opposites were the Algos, personifications of pain.
