The Daltons are fictional outlaws who regularly appear in the Lucky Luke comic book series and arch-enemies to Lucky Luke. They were created by artist Morris and writer René Goscinny. They are loosely inspired by the real-life Dalton Gang, and billed as their cousins. The TV animation series The New Adventures of Lucky Luke (started in 2001) includes the four Dalton brothers in most episodes. The 2007 animated film Go West!

A long association with Atco/Atlantic began in 1958, especially on recordings by the Coasters. He recorded singles for many small labels in the '50s - his own Atco sessions (1958-1959), and Prestige/New Jazz and Prestige/Tru-Sound for jazz and R&B albums (1960-1961). Curtis also had a number one R&B single with "Soul Twist" on Enjoy (1962). The sadly short-lived Curtis Ousley aka King Curtis (he was murdered in 1971, aged just 37), is acknowledged as the most influential saxophonist in the history of rock music. Although his first love was jazz, during the 50s Curtis established himself as a highly-respected bandleader and session musician in the worlds of rhythm & blues and rock & roll, earning a big reputation for his eloquent, lugubriously textured riffs and solos on The Coasters' hits.
