Each album, however, got better and better, culiminating in X, which was altogether enjoyable and was 85-90% there on the compositional factor. Well, ladies (ha!) and germs, I am here to tell you, Brief Nocturnes is a BEAST of a prog album. Not missing Neal OR Nick on this one. Maybe Ted Leonard brought some writing mojo in along with the best lead voice Spock's has yet had. All apologies to both Neal and Nick, Ted is just a better singer
