He was known as The Man with a Million Friends and Mr. Gospel Music.
And don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there. Conquer the devils with a little thing called love. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Bob Marley quotes on music. Hey mister music, sure sounds good to me I can’t refuse it what to be got to be. My music fights against the system that teaches to live and die. My music will go on forever. Maybe it’s a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts.

He performed and recorded through the decade with Georgie Auld, Buddy DeFranco, and Vido Musso, but when working with both Red Nichols and Bud Freeman in the mid-'50s was seated behind the drums
