The third in the trilogy of CDs of a Japanese tour that produced these stunning 1996 recording from the former This Heat drummer. His unique solo style is captured live drumming and singing on the first three tracks which are taken from the concert that produced the Êscape From Europe album. Dense noise collages built in the studio make up the mid-section of the album, and the closing track finds Hayward alone in the garden.
Keiji Haino and Charles Hayward have spent decades twisting through rock’s byways, slipping between the cracks of punk, noise, free improv, prog, music concrete, and on and on. If the rock pantheon’s ur-texts valorize righteous authenticity, Dyonisian sexual liberation, and noodly virtuosity, these two are undaunted inversions, Jungian shadows to that mainstream triumphant myth. You can identify either of them in an instant. A Loss Permitted, recorded live in 2016, finds the two jamming on the edge of oblivion. From the go, the session is defined by a whisper/roar contrast, with Haino’s guitar slicing near total silence with darting serrations. Without wasting any time, he stretches far out to one edge of the spectrum, as if to alert you to the violence which looms behind every moment of restraint. The duo then quickly starts messing with understated atonal gestures, which initially come off a touch rote.
Night Flight is a studio album by Moody Blues frontman Justin Hayward, released on Decca Records in 1980. It was reissued on CD in September 1989. The album came about as a result of Hayward's involvement in Jeff Wayne's musical adaptation of War of the Worlds. Wayne produced and arranged the album, which proved to be one of the lengthiest recording experiences of Hayward's career. The music was mostly pop and dance oriented, and most of the tracks were romantic love songs.

Hayward is not for everyone and the economic decline of the city has gotten worse. I live in the Hayward Hills and we bought here because of as he CCAs, low HOAs, and planned communities make it very scenic. Someone compared it to Woodlands, CA on the peninsula. Also, my husband was reared here. If you live north and a bit east of there it’s decent. West Hayward, near Chabot College is very reminiscent of how it was in the 80. ots of the old residents from my childhood are still ther. t has an old neighborhood feel. South Hayward, had problems in the past in the Tennyson are. angs, crime, urban bligh. eah; sort of rough there. You will be in the middle of the East Bay.
