Both the Ethereal 77 tracks on this compilation are essential Schnauss. With the typical Schnauss signature sound on the drum & bass tip, "Oblivion" & "Dark Skiez" wouldn't sound at all out of place on any goodlooking records compilation. Reply Notify me Helpful. They are strongly in the DnB, Big Beat genre. Track 1 smacks of Crystal Method. T2 sounds like it could be on Dream Mixes 3. T4 is a standout, old skool jungle flavor and samples with a smooth atmosphere throughout much of it. Jerome keeps his guitar in the cabinet for this album: strictly electronic. Even better are the insanely wonderful Schnauss tracks. I must say I like Schnauss DnB even more than I do his eponymous outings! Track 7 is just sublime, melting and oozing through your auditory system. It harkens back to the later, upbeat Global Communication singles.
