Domes of Silence were a stoner rock/indie rock band out of Oxford, England. Active between the early 2000s and 2015 the band was a notable stoner rock act in an area usually devoid of such a genre at the time. When the Domes exactly started is unknown but it can be speculated around 2000 or possibly earlier. The Domes would perform shows around Oxfordshire and release a single on Oxford label Shifty Disco in 2001 entitled Tarnished Evidence.
