Actual Miles: Henley's Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits compilation album by American singer-songwriter Don Henley, released in 1995. The album was the first compilation album released by Henley and it covered hits from all three of his solo albums throughout the 1980s. The album features three new songs, "The Garden of Allah", "You Don't Know Me at All", and Henley's cover of "Everybody Knows". The collection peaked at on the charts and reached platinum status.

Sound - 8 This is the 1995 collection of Don Henley's greatest hits from his post-Eagles (and pre-Eagles reunion) career taking tracks from 1982's I Can't Stand Still, Building The Perfect Beast (1984) and The End Of The Innocence (1989). It's a selection of slick pop-rock which for the most part remains very 80's sounding, unlike the timeless music from the Eagles. The real rock numbers only come towards the end of Actual Miles. I Will Not Go Quietly' and 'The Garden Of Allah' show softer signs of Led Zeppelin in their bluesy brashness but balance the CD out evenly and stop it from getting too sickly and finally adding some distortion to those guitars. Overall it's a fantastic cd.
