Best Of – Volume I is the first greatest hits album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1996. The album does not contain any songs from the band's 1982 album Diver Down. Best Of – Volume I also features "Humans Being", the band's contribution to the Twister soundtrack. The two newly recorded songs, "Can't Get This Stuff No More" and "Me Wise Magic", at the end of the album are with original lead vocalist David Lee Roth.
James Matthew "Matt" Van Oekel (born September 20, 1986) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for USL Championship club Birmingham Legion FC. Van Oekel played one year of college soccer at Longwood University before transferring to Rutgers in his sophomore year. With Rutgers, he played in 47 games and earned 20 wins. Van Oekel signed with Minnesota out of college in 2008, after impressing staff at the Thunder combine in February 2008.
It was released on November 14, 1998 on Mötley/Hip-O. Tommy Lee recorded his drum tracks for the album's two new songs, the single "Bitter Pill" and the promo single "Enslaved" and then started a prison sentence of five months. Additionally, a remix version of "Glitter" is included. The tour for the album began after Lee's release from prison.
