Grey Area's recent split with Go Rydell provided hungry fans an idea of what the band would sound like after a decade removed from the recording room. Their new tracks fit right alongside that, with the band playing fast, driving melodic punk with solid tempo changes and Ernie Parada's upper-register shout. Lucky has a catchy closing hook, but the brief flashes of fresh urgency in Bad Anything are Grey Area's main highlight.

Grey Area has seniority here, so that band opens up the split with "Lucky" and "Bad Anything. These two melodic hardcore tracks are very much in the vein of H2O and Lifetime, so everyone should be happy about these songs. But honestly, those upstarts in the Reveling put on a darn good turn with "Trust Me" and "It's Time to Ride. I sort of, kind of, absolutely wrote this band off after drummer/occasional E Street Band member Jay Weinberg bolted for Against Me!, but the Reveling's two tracks are solid Gaslight Anthemy tunes.

They are currently signed to Red Scare Industries. They are known for what Alternative Press calls "both the sloppy, slacker pop-punk of, say, early Green Day with the slightly more polished sheen of Teenage Bottlerocket or recent Bouncing Souls".
