David Howard Lanz (born June 28, 1950 in Seattle, Washington) is a Grammy-nominated pianist. His album Cristofori's Dream topped the New age music charts in 1988. Lanz attributes his interest in the piano to experiences during his childhood in the Pacific Northwest. He was inspired to play piano by his mother. She played songs by Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole on the piano and became his first musical mentor.

Kill You is the opening track to the album, and is a lyrical tirade against Kim, Debbie Mathers, girlish rappers and women in general. The call-and-response part after the hook is a highlight of any given Eminem concert. Em wrote in Angry Blonde: I wanted to start the album with that song because everybody in the press was like ‘'what’s he gonna rap about? He’s not miserable anymore. The whole idea of this song was to say some of the most fucked-up shit.

Kill You is a song by Snakes N' Barrels, most notably covered by Dethklok. Not much is known about this song, although it was covered by members of Dethklok at one point.
