Ian Adcock) been tirelessly trudging his keys throughout the kills of Madison, WI last year, mustering up the most natural and mirage riddled album entitled Black Velvet, Dead Flowers, conducted where he feels most sane: the wild. Black Velvet is the fourth and final studio album by American funk/soul artist Charles Bradley, released on 9 November 2018. The album release was preceded by two singles, "Can't Fight the Feeling" and "I Feel a Change". The name of the album comes from Bradley's stage name during his time as a James Brown impersonator.
Black velvet And that little boy's smile Black velvet With that slow southern style A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees Black velvet if you please. The way he moved It was a sin So sweet and true Always wanting more He'd leave you longing for. Black velvet And that little boy's smile Black velvet With that slow southern.

The Black Velvet Band" (Roud number 2146) is a traditional folk song collected from singers in Ireland, Australia, England, Canada and the United States describing how a young man is tricked and then sentenced to transportation to Australia, a common punishment in the British Empire during the 19th century. Versions were also published on broadsides. The narrator is bound apprentice in a town (which varies in different versions). He becomes romantically involved with a young woman.
