A finite line that's hard to see and it aways moves away from me. I don't want to wait for anything Waste away instead of vanishing Time will die and love will bury it Time will die and love will bury it Aimless strives to try and reach this Will not stir me from this sickness. Stay wondering With this reckoning Watch it go by, just to give in. The rush of waves I'm flooded in the running Drifting with this one constant The wish to change is washed away The outer bounds are out of reach Is it true it's everlasting?

Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It. Rolo Tomassi. Released March 2, 2018. Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It Tracklist. 1. Towards Dawn Lyrics.

Here is a band that has defied categorisation and expectations for just over 12 years and their new album, Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It, continues to shatter, heal, confuse and dazzle their diverse audience. Given its title, Time Will Die. is a logical successor to the band’s previous album, Grievances, which delved deep into the crevasses of darkened souls and painted a picture of darkness, turmoil and regret. Across the album, Rolo Tomassi illustrates this emotional mannerism about them where they can sound so bracing, so cleansing and yet so destructive at the same time. Over the years they have learned to bind opposing extremities with more cohesion in comparison to their earlier efforts which jaggedly leapt from genre to genre, lacking the finesse their latest album expertly flaunts.

Ten years ago, Rolo Tomassi released their debut album Hysterics. At this point, their exuberant Nintendocore sounded like a fairground falling down a flight of stairs. And landing on another fairground. It was a joyous noise, audibly the work of plucky youths gleefully smashing musical boundaries. What it perhaps didn’t sound like was the beginning of something that would last the distance. Time Will Di. s a hugely satisfying listen, with the longer songs in particular allowing the band free rein to indulge every experimental urge. Contretemps pits Eva Spence’s frenzied vocals against twinkly post-rock guitars and a delightful organ pattern, but ends up a delicate ballad. Alma Mater and Whispers Among Us juxtapose hardcore fury and tech-metal shredding with lush melodic sections.

Rolo Tomassi have ditched the glitchy, Nintendo-core synth tones from their early days, James Spence’s synth work is now present as an atmospheric layer, similar to Cult Of Luna’s synths, sitting in harmony with Chris Cayford’s guitar playing. Going from strength to strength with each album cycle, Rolo Tomassi have really developed over the past decade and Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It, a beautiful, triumphant and innovative mix of post-rock, hardcore and dream-pop, is undoubtedly their best work yet. For fans of: Converge, Between The Buried And Me, Deftones.

The album stays true to our sound and musical ethic, while continuing to push our limits creatively. Every sonic element you have heard from our band before has been absolutely pushed to the extreme. We focused intensely on developing each song to its maximum potential to ensure every track was as fully realised as it could be. Having had the same settled line-up within the band for the last 4 years, we feel that we're at our strongest ever point as a group and can't wait to bring our live show to you soon. It's been a long time in the making and we feel it's our most progressive and eclectic record to date. The album stays true to our sound and musical ethic, while continuing to push our limits creatively.
