Little Richard's Greatest Hits (or Great Hits) is an album of Little Richard songs re-recorded in 1964 and first released by Vee-Jay Records in January 1965. It features updated versions of twelve of his best-known songs originally recorded in the 1950s for Specialty Records. Some of these re-recordings use different musical arrangements, including unusual syncopation, tambourine and jazz horns.
The Incredible Little Richard Sings His Greatest Hits – Live! is the first of two albums Little Richard made for the Modern Records label. Live album by Little Richard. After the recording sessions for this album, (actually the result of then-Richard Manger, Robert A. "Bumps" Blackwell's effort to convince European fans to petition Okeh Records to cut a live album), Richard recorded three more tracks for Okeh on May 17, 1967, one issued in 2004 ('Golden Arrow'), leaving the other two unreleased; then recorded six tracks in New York, Los. Angeles, and Chicago for the Brunswick Records label late in 1967 and in 1968. The Brunswick tracks were released between December '67 - September '68, none of which were hits
