Yes, I agree - a very good album indeed in the ambient-drone guitar-smear mould. Just a corrective to Ambiento's speculation: far from 'retiring', Brooks Rongstad went away and explored other musical avenues for a while before returning as Exuviae. He has just had this album and another from the same period - "Response" - re-released by Atmoworks, along with a new album, "The White Underneath". A new wave of guitar-based ambient drone seems to have made his work newly 'refreshed', revaling his work to have been in some ways prescient

Exuviae is the primary moniker of Minnesota-based electronic musician Brooks Rongstad, who has produced and recorded various forms of electronic music for the better part of 10 years. He was a co-founder of the GreenHouseMusic record label and is also an active participant on the Atmoworks label. The year 2008 sees his return to the electronic music community, with various projects in various styles out for release.
