Excellent album of avant garde electronic pieces based on the Tibetan Book Of The Dead, and written by French electronic music genius Pierre Henry. This LP's very different than his funky Messe Pour Les Temps, and has a spare, hollow, spooky sound, with lots of noisy bits, and harsh electronics. LP, Vinyl record album. Stockhausen provides the electronic sounds on "Kontakte", while "Refrain" is exclusively piano and percussion.
