Dark Horse (George Harrison song). Dark Horse" is a song by English musician George Harrison, released as the title track to his 1974 solo album on Apple Records. The song was the album's lead single in North America, becoming a top-20 hit in the United States, but it was Harrison's first single not to chart in Britain when issued there in February 1975.

Dark Horse is the fifth studio album by English musician George Harrison, released on Apple Records in December 1974 as the follow-up to Living in the Material World. Although keenly anticipated on release, Dark Horse is associated with the controversial North American tour that Harrison staged with co-headliner Ravi Shankar in November and December that year

George Harrison is the eighth studio album by English musician George Harrison, released in February 1979. It was written and recorded through much of 1978, a period of domestic contentment for Harrison, during which he married Olivia Trinidad Arias and became a father for the first time, to son Dhani.

George Harrison’s first full solo tour following the breakup of The Beatles began in November 1974, prior to the release of his fifth studio album. This was also the first tour of North America by any of the four Beatles and, like his Concert For Bangladesh, this 1974 tour, which began in Canada on 2 November 1974, included Ravi Shankar the Indian master-musician. In the end, George discarded the version of ‘Dark Horse’ he recorded in his home studio and he reworked it, recording with the touring musicians.

Album: Dark Horse, 1974. George Harrison, Dark Horse (álbum Dark Horse, 1974). George Harrison quotes. Rap music is just computerised crap. I listen to Top of the Pops and after three songs I feel like killing someone.

George Harrison's albums for Dark Horse drifted out of print in the late '90s as his contract with Warner Brothers expired. Over the half-decade, they fetched high prices on the collector's market, as any relatively rare Beatles-related item does, and the demand for these records - along with the Traveling Wilburys albums, which were part of Harrison's Dark Horse/Warner contract - never diminished. 1987), and Live in Japan (1992) - were reissued, both individually and as part of the lavish box set Dark Horse Years 1976-1992. All five of the studio albums have been remastered and are graced with a bonus track or two, while the double-live set has been reissued as a hybrid SACD with a . surround mix (a nice gesture, but it does raise the question of why wasn't the entire set released as hybrid SACD, the way the 2002 Rolling Stones and. 2003 Bob Dylan reissues were).

something I had never tried but I am well pleased with the results and will be doing more. So anyway this is George Harrison,a drawing of the back of his Dark horse solo album. I tried drawing it from the CD but it. was just too small, luckily I found the original LP at Half Price records for a bargain. I still think the LP'S were nice because you got those big sleeves.
