A character that just i had in mind King George III. He was built in 1927 by the GWR Swindon Works as a member of Charles Colletts successful 6000 King Class as number 6004 and was named in honour of his Majesty the former King George III of the United Kingdom better known for his role in the American Revolution As being an Express engine he was a bit pompous and thought himself as. superior to other engines specially goods locomotives But despite all of this he was very respected and had respect for those who really deserve it. 1948 arrived, and he was against the idea of destroying the forme.

God Save the King may date back to the seventeenth century. The tune first appeared in this form in 1744. It became popular in 1745, the second year of the Jacobite Uprising. After the Battle of Prestonpans, the bandleader of Theatre Royal, Drury Lane arranged the tune and played it at the end of the night - which other theatres picked up and which became customary. The tune became a rallying cry for the House of Hanover. May she defend our laws And ever give us cause To sing with heart and voice God save the Queen. Additional Verse added in 1946 - meant to replace the third stanza. The verse was written by Rev.

God Save the Tsar!" was the national anthem of the Russian Empire. The song was chosen from a competition held in 1833 and was first performed on 18 December 1833. The composer was violinist Alexei Lvov, and the lyrics were by the court poet Vasily Zhukovsky. It was the anthem until the Russian Revolution of 1917, after which "Worker's Marseillaise" was adopted as the new national anthem until the overthrow of the Russian Provisional Government.

God Save the Queen/Under Heavy Manners is the second solo album by Robert Fripp, released on the Polydor Records label in 1980 (US catalogue no. PD-1-6266). The album largely consists of Frippertronics, with much of the work being performed by improvisation. On the Under Heavy Manners side of the album, the effect was modified in what Fripp described as "Discotronics", adding a solid drum beat and bass line to create a dancier sound.

God Save the King is actually a split release and/or a Robert Fripp compilation, depending on how you look at it. In 1980, Robert Fripp released something of a split disc himself, called God Save the Queen/Under Heavy Manners, consisting of a side of Frippertronics and a side of Discotronics, the latter being Frippertronics with a "dance-oriented" (according to Fripp) rhythm section. Also in 1980, Fripp formed a new group, borrowing the name from his early-'60s band, the League of Gentlemen
