The Naked Truth is the fourth live album by Dutch hard rock band Golden Earring, released in 1992. All songs were performed with acoustic instruments. The album has been released over the decade with additional tracks under the titles The Complete Naked Truth and Fully Naked. All songs written by Hay and Kooymans except where noted. Introduction" (Gerritsen, Hay, Kooymans, Zuiderwijk). Jangalene" (Kooymans). Another 45 Miles" (Kooymans). Why Do I?". "I Can't Sleep Without You".

Golden Earring is a Dutch rock band, founded in 1961 in The Hague as the Golden Earrings (the definite article was dropped in 1967, while the "s" was dropped in 1969). They achieved worldwide fame with their international hit songs "Radar Love" in 1973, which went to number one on the Dutch charts, reached the top ten in the United Kingdom and went to number thirteen on the United States charts, "Twilight Zone" in 1982, and "When the Lady Smiles" in 1984

This 1977 double-album opus represents Golden Earring's entry into the series of live albums that were so popular in the late '70s. At this point in its career, the band's live sound had a newfound sense of power, thanks to the addition of second guitarist Eelco Gelling. Indeed, classics like "Radar Love" and "She Flies on Strange Wings" benefit from a newfound complexity and energy that stems from the energetic guitar interplay between Gelling and George Kooymans

This album comes in a gatefold sleeve. Live is an album by Dutch hard rock band Golden Earring, released in 1977. Track listing all songs written by Barry Hay and George Kooymans, except where noted.

Live is a music live recording by GOLDEN EARRING (Prog Related/Progressive Rock) released in 1977 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Hopefully the group will one day release a live album recoded before Moontan time. In the meantime, this double Live album gives you a good idea of what GE was about on stage. By this time, in the mid to late 70s, Earring had a two guitar lineup, which allowed lead guy George Kooymans more freedom as the other guy held down the fort. Barry Hay makes a great live frontman, confident and energetic, with just a dose of self- deprecating humor. The songs comprising this double live album are a journey from peak to peak to peak.

Golden Earring's first live album contained some or their best material, but it sometimes got muddled and bogged down, losing its momentum in spots. 2nd Live is the other half of the equation - an energetic, relentless set that features some sub-par material, with most of the songs culled from "No Promises, No Debts" and "Prisoner of the Night", the two releases that preceded this album

Above pictured cassette is actually the 1992 2nd REissue on MCA in clear case & clear cassette shell. The 1981 1st REissue on MCA with number MCAC2-6004 has the same cover photo as the original 1977 issue of the cassette which was originally numbered as MCAC2-8009.

I have this album, however, is the number on the front cover at another place, about a centimeter under the red field and so to the left that the 4 on the right edge of the red field would be.

I have this album without the repress number on the cover. Mine is the first press with the cat number down at the lower right corner and labels as pictured. It is a great recording. Got to see them live here in the states when Switch came out. Great show in a small hall.
