Blonde (alternatively titled blond) is the second studio album by American singer Frank Ocean. Blonde features an abstract and experimental sound in comparison to Ocean's previous releases, and includes guest vocals from André 3000, Beyoncé, Yung Lean, and Kim Burrell, among others.
Blonde on Blonde is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released June 20, 1966 on Columbia Records. Recording sessions began in New York in October 1965 with numerous backing musicians, including members of Dylan's live backing band, the Hawks. Though sessions continued until January 1966, they yielded only one track that made it onto the final album-"One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later)".

Blonde (originally titled Boys Don’t Cry) is the second studio album by the enigmatic Frank Ocean. The album was released on August 20, 2016, following a four-year hiatus after the release of channel ORANGE. Fans have speculated that the use of blond on the album cover and blonde on the album listing is a reference to Frank’s bisexuality and the themes of duality between masculinity and femininity in his life; with blond being the masculine form, and blonde being the feminine. The word blonde itself holds two interpretations. The first is that children normally have blonde hair that darkens to brown as they get older.
Blonde on Blonde captured Dylan at his most prodigious and inspired. The Cutting Edge release documents the amount of work put into the record and it's loaded with classics. Highway 61 and Bringing It All Back Home lack the ragged maturity that Dylan exuded on Blonde, and the album was greatly enhanced by the monster band of mostly Nashville musicians, leading to sonic tones superior to earlier recordings. Of course arguments can be made that Blood on the Tracks and Highway 61 are better
Blonde on Blonde, released just 15 months after Bringing It All Back Home climaxed the amphetamine rush of Dylan´s mid-´60s glory. He is also one of the first rock artists to have released a double album with Frank Zappa. This album is called "Blonde On Blonde" and is simply the most ambitious album of Dylan's extraordinary discography. This album is an incredible masterpiece. It would probably be in my list of the 10 most essential rock albums.

On Blonde on Blonde, all the tension and angst of Highway 61 Revisited and Bringing It All Back Home were blown wide open to reveal pure freedom. It’s rock’s first double-album monument, where the distance between Dylan’s imagination and his music collapsed entirely: The closest I ever got to the sound I hear in my mind, he famously said, that thin, that wild mercury sound. With its chain-lightning mix of rock & roll, novelty music, surrealist ballads, Chicago blues and psychedelic country, its peels of lyrical invention and epic song lengths, Blonde on Blonde might seem like the kind.
