The songs were recorded prior to the formation of the now-famous band, Bon Jovi.

Parts of the 1998 version can be heard in the movie. 1998 : "It's My Life" : written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. First recorded and completely finished for the "Creatures Of The Night" album. For the "Psycho Circus" album the song was re-recorded by Kiss. 1993 - 1995 : "Outromental" isn't even the real name to this instrumental piece which was supposed to close the 'Carnival Of Souls' album appearing sometime after the end of the last track in a manner similar to 'Rock And Roll Party' on Destroyer.

It's full, all right, of tracks recorded between 1971 and 1993. Unfortunately, it adds nothing to the original. The players included here have been among Nashville and Los Angeles' prize session musicians, from drummer Kenny Buttrey and keyboardist David Briggs to bassist Tommy Cogbill.
