Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by English-American rock band the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Released by Reprise Records in North America and Track Records in the UK in October 1968, the double album was the only record from the band produced by Jimi Hendrix. By mid-November, it had charted at number one in the United States, where it spent two weeks at the top spot. Single LP version 184 184Although it has English label ring wording (without the 'Made In Germany'). Sleeves are almost definitely German-made and the boxed GEMA publishing and ringed ST 33 above the catalogue number on the labels suggest a German, and not UK pressing. The matrix info most closely resembles Electric Ladyland and the South African Electric Ladyland.
It's likely that this was an interim single sleeve LP release between the original German 2LP release Electric Ladyland, and the later 1970 version The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland, similar to the UK versions on Track.
