Eugène-Auguste Ysaÿe (French: ; 16 July 1858 – 12 May 1931) was a Belgian violinist, composer and conductor. He was regarded as "The King of the Violin", or, as Nathan Milstein put it, the "tsar". Eugène Ysaÿe came from a background of "artisans", though a large part of his family played instruments.

A student of Ivan Galamian at the Juilliard School, he served as Concertmaster of the La Monnaie Opera Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Belgium – and held long term teaching positions on faculty at the Antwerp Conservatoire and at the Queen Elisabeth Music College.
